Pre-exam counseling Service of CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CSBE) is providing pre-exam counseling and helpline service to the students and parents; they can get benefit from this service from February 1 to April 17. This service will be available throughout the country, everyone can easily avail this service anywhere from the country.
It will be a toll-free helpline from CBSE to reduce the exams stress of the students. Students and parents may read weekly question and answer column in national newspapers and they may get assistance through the CBSE website.
We can call from anywhere in India to the toll-free number of 1800 11 8004. According to a report, the CBSE is going to provide this service of psychological support service to the students for the 17th consecutive year. This service aim to assist the students at the time of preparation and during the examination, in this way the exams stress could be reduced.
CBSE understands the severe situation of exams stress, so they hired the well-trained and experienced counselors in order to support psychologically the tensed students and their parents. It is the fifth time that special counselors are hired for the assistance of specially-able students. More than 55 counselors are working voluntarily in the pre-exam counseling service of CBSE.
The CBSE is trying their best to reduce tension and stress of the students. The CBSE had taken a big step for Class 11 and Class 12. It will be initiated with the exams of March 2014. To reduce the tension of rote learning, the new method for different subjects will be comprised in the relevant question paper. The changes in the method will be implemented for Class 11 in the academic session of 2014-15 and for the Class 12 it will be implemented in the session of 2015-16.
