Assam Board SEBA 10th class Result 2016
For the development of secondary education in the state of Assam, in 1961, the Assam Secondary Education Act was passed. The act was aimed at providing, regulating and supervising the education in the Assam state. The act was made active on 29 January 1962 by the Government of Assamâs Education Department. After the act the Board of Secondary Education Assam which is also known as SEBA was established on 14th March, 1962. At the time of establishment the chairman of the board was Sri S.C. Rajkhowa and the Secretary of board was Md. N. Islam. The board started its work from the Conference Room of the office of D.P.I., Assam at Shillong but was later on shifted to a house of rent in Rehabari.
At the time of establishment boardâs jurisdiction was the area of the erstwhile State of Assam which comprised of the North East region of the country. But later on when new states were established like Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh and each one with their own Board of Education, the jurisdiction of Assam was reduced. At present the state of Assam comes under the jurisdiction of Assam. Board is responsible of conducting the HSLC and AHM examination each year. The motive of the board is to spread secondary education all over India and to develop educational system in the state of Assam.
Secondary Education Board Assam (SEBA) 10th Result 2016
Each year SEBA board conducts the HSLC for 10th class examination in the month of February or March. And the result of the examination is announced in the month of May. So the 2016 result of 10th class is expected to be declared in the month of May. The examination schedule for 2016 is already announced by the board and can be viewed on the official site of the Board.
Last year, SEBA declared the HSLC and AHM examination result on 17th May, 2014. About 0.4 Million students appeared for the exam. As soon as the result will be announced for the SEBA board HSLC examination it will be updated on the official website of the Board which is www.seba.net.in. Students will be able to check their result using their Roll Number, Name or their School name-wise.
